Yes, we prioritize using recycled polyester whenever we can.

Every piece in our collection manufactured from our US production partner is made from 75% recycled polyester (rPET), sourced from post consumer plastic waste.

If you're ordering from Europe, the majority of our pieces are made from at least 81% recycled polyester including all our bikinis, Swim Trunks, Breezy Swim Trunks, Scuba Leggings, and Cropped Rashies.

We use recycled polyester because compared to traditional polyester, rPET reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 79%. We make every order on demand, which means zero overproduction and nothing goes to landfill unsold.

Sharks have patrolled the world's oceans for over 450 million years, surviving five mass extinction events that wiped out the majority of life on earth.

They are apex predators that sit at the very top of the marine food chain, and their presence is one of the most reliable indicators of a healthy, functioning ocean ecosystem. By regulating the populations of species below them, controlling fish numbers, removing sick and weak animals, and preventing any single species from dominating, sharks maintain the balance that allows coral reefs, seagrass beds, and open ocean ecosystems to thrive. Remove the sharks, and the entire food web unravels.

Yet despite 450 million years of survival, sharks are now facing their greatest threat — us. Over 100 million sharks are killed every year through commercial fishing, bycatch, and the shark fin trade. Many species are declining at catastrophic rates, with some populations down by over 70% in the last 50 years. The irony is that sharks are far more valuable alive than dead, shark diving tourism alone generates over $314 million annually worldwide, supporting coastal communities and incentivising reef protection.
