Still deciding?
Yes, we prioritize using recycled polyester whenever we can.
Every piece in our collection manufactured from our US production partner is made from 75% recycled polyester (rPET), sourced from post consumer plastic waste.
If you're ordering from Europe, the majority of our pieces are made from at least 81% recycled polyester including all our bikinis, Swim Trunks, Breezy Swim Trunks, Scuba Leggings, and Cropped Rashies.
We use recycled polyester because compared to traditional polyester, rPET reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 79%. We make every order on demand, which means zero overproduction and nothing goes to landfill unsold.
Yes, all of our scuba bikinis, rash guards, and leggings are rated UPF 50+, blocking 98% of harmful UV rays. Whether you're on the dive boat between dives or snorkeling a shallow reef, you're protected from sun exposure without a single drop of chemical sunscreen in the water.
Every single order plants corals through our Save Our Seas Pledge, 10% of every purchase goes directly to ocean conservation including coral restoration with our conservation partner Living Seas Foundation.
We've seen firsthand what healthy reefs look like, and what they look like when they're gone. This is our commitment to making sure every purchase gives something back.
Absolutely, our swimwear is designed specifically for divers. The secure, stay-put fit means nothing rides up or bunches under your wetsuit or BCD, and the stretchy recycled fabric moves with your body underwater rather than against it.
Our rash guards and Scuba Leggings double as dive skins in warm tropical water above 24°C, and layer perfectly under a wetsuit in cooler conditions.
The Dive Compass is designed by a chemical engineer with a master's degree in Sustainability Science and Technology.
We don't just use recycled materials and call it sustainable. Every piece is made to order to eliminate excess inventory waste, we partner with Living Seas Foundations for active coral restoration, and we design every print around the marine life and ecosystems we're committed to protecting.
This isn't swimwear with a sustainability label. It's dive wear built around a mission.
Coral reefs are essential habitat for octopuses, providing the complex, labyrinth structure of crevices, caves, and overhangs that octopuses rely on for shelter, hunting, and protection from predators.
An octopus on a healthy reef is a master of its environment, using its boneless body to squeeze into impossibly small reef gaps, changing color and texture in under a second to match coral, rock, and sand with terrifying precision, and emerging at night to hunt crabs, shrimp, and mollusks across the reef floor. What makes octopuses particularly fascinating on a reef dive is how rarely you actually see them, despite being one of the reef's most intelligent and active predators, their camouflage is so extraordinary that most divers swim right past them without ever knowing they were there. Learning to spot an octopus on a reef dive is one of those skills that completely changes how you see the underwater world, suddenly every rock, every patch of coral, every seemingly empty crevice becomes a potential hiding place.
The Octopus Reef collection celebrates the full richness of that world, a richly detailed reef scene of curious octopuses, coral gardens, and ocean life in vivid color, capturing everything that makes a reef dive endlessly surprising.
Every purchase plants corals under our Save Our Seas Pledge, helping to protect and restore the complex reef structures that species like the octopus depend on entirely.

Coral reefs need our help!
Your purchase plants corals
Did you know that it is estimated that over 50% of coral reefs have been lost since the 1950s?
When we learned this heartbreaking statistic we knew we had to do something about it - so we created The Dive Compass, an ocean loving swimwear brand where YOUR purchase can actually make a difference. Each purchase plants corals in the heart of the Coral Triangle in Bali, Indonesia with the Livingseas Foundation.
