Chest / Bust — Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it parallel to the floor. Bring the tape under your armpits and across your shoulder blades. Don't pull too tight.

Waist — Find the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button. Stand naturally — don't hold your breath or pull in your stomach.

Hips — Stand with feet together. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat, parallel to the floor — usually about 8–9 inches below your natural waist.

Fit Tips for Diving

US orders: size up

The women's rash guard runs small for US customers. If you're between sizes or on the border, we recommend sizing up. A slightly roomier fit is more comfortable for long dive days and easier to layer under a wetsuit.

🇪🇺

EU orders: size down

EU production uses a different material that runs larger. If you're between sizes or on the border, we recommend sizing down. EU customers should expect a more generous fit compared to standard US sizing.

Stays put under your BCD

Our rash guards are designed to stay in place through multiple dives. Size to your chest for the best fit — the rash guard should feel snug enough to not ride up under your BCD, but comfortable enough to move freely underwater.

Layering under a wetsuit

A rash guard worn under a wetsuit reduces friction and helps the wetsuit glide on more easily. For layering, size true to your chest measurement — a close-fitting rash guard works best as a base layer under neoprene.

Return shipping is paid by you, everything we make is produced only once you order it, which is how we keep overproduction and waste out of the ocean, so we keep round-trip shipping to a minimum rather than building its cost into every price.

The women's rash guards are made from 75% recycled polyester for US production (EU production does not use recycled materials), giving plastic waste a second life by turning it into a high-performance fabric.

Recycled polyester uses 33% to 53% less energy and produces 54.6% less CO2 emissions when compared to traditional polyester making it a more sustainable choice.

Our fabrics are made to handle saltwater, chlorine, and sun.

To keep your gear looking and performing great, we recommend:

Rinse with fresh water after ocean or pool use
Wash cold, gentle cycle, inside out
Hang dry
Avoid dryers, bleach, and fabric softeners

Heat and harsh chemicals can break down performance fabrics over time.

Expert Tip! Wash your gear in a GUPPYFRIEND Washing Bag to protect the ocean by preventing microfiber shedding and extend the life of your gear

Avoid contact with rough surfaces as the fabric can easily pull and get damaged, this includes avoiding velcro from your BCD

🌱 Fabric composition and certifications*

These woman's rash guards are made with 75% recycled polyester and 25% elastane for US production & 82% polyester and 18% elastane for EU production.

We use OEKO-TEX™ certified sublimation inks for printing our designs, which means they’re tested and certified to be safe for people and better for the environment.

These inks are specifically made for performance fabrics and permanently bond with the material, so the designs don’t crack, peel, or wash out.

What a cute and functional way to dive in Bonaire! The top fit beautifully and feels very substantial. The sea foam green matches beautifully with the Octopus print and is very visible while submerged. I felt both sun-safe and thematically glamorous!

Very nice design and material

Very nice design and material. For diving in warm waters or under the wetsuit - but it's too cute to hide it ;-) The size runs quite big, you could choose the smaller one.

This is a perfect rash guard!! Exactly what I was hoping for. It fit perfectly, is so well made and great quality material, protected me from the sun and sea critters, and looks so great!! Perfect for snorkeling or diving or any other water activity. Got tons of compliments and everyone kept asking me where I got it!! Super high quality rash guard

Super high quality rash guard, I wear them almost daily and this one looks like it will stand up to regular use. Beautiful colors, true to what is shown on the website. I’m 5’8” 165 lbs and the size L fits perfectly…snug in the right places but not super tight. It has nice long arms and long torso which suits me and has been hard to find in other rash guards. I’m super impressed!

The colour and pattern are so incredibly beautiful! Really brightens up the day to wear it, and the fabric is soft and comfortable. The size chart is very accurate, and the customer service is unmatched. There was a small issue with the first one I got, but I immediately got sent a replacement. This also works well under a wetsuit to make it easier to put on, and protects well against the sun without feeling too hot.
