Waist — Place the tape on the narrowest part of your waist and measure around. Stand naturally — don't hold your breath or pull in your stomach.

Fit Tips for Diving

📏

True to size — size up if between

Men's swim trunks run true to size. If your measurements fall exactly on a size boundary, that's your size. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit — especially important for diving where freedom of movement matters.
📐

Size to your waist

For swim trunks, prioritise your waist measurement. The drawstring waist gives you some flexibility, but getting the right waist fit is the most important factor. Your hip measurement is a useful secondary check.
🤿

Freedom of movement underwater

A slightly roomier waist is always better for diving than too snug — you need full range of motion for finning. If in doubt between two sizes, go with the larger one for comfort on long dive days.
🌊

After your first dive

Recycled polyester softens slightly with saltwater and wear. The drawstring waist lets you adjust the fit after the fabric settles in.
🔀

Waist vs Hips

If your waist and hip measurements suggest different sizes, go with your waist measurement — the drawstring waist gives you more control over the fit. Sizing to your waist first and accepting a slightly roomier hip is more comfortable than the reverse.
